The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run (2020) – Movie Trailer

Paramount Pictures is polishing out their newest animation movie named simply – The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. 🙂 The movie is done differently than a TV Series, as it is completely done in CGI motion picture. Personally, I like more the old-type animation movies, but I’m a big fan of SpongeBob and I have to give a chance for this movie.

In the movie we will see how SpongeBob has met his best friend (and pet) Gary, the snail… But the real story starts when they are adults, and one day, SpongeBob realizes that Gary is snailnapped. In the search for his pet, the whole gang is going on adventure trip to The Lost City of Atlantic City, where they manage to survive all the dangers and delights of the big city… Proving than the power of friendship is stronger than anything…

The movie is directed by Tim Hill, a well-known writer, producer and director for his movies Hop (2011), Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007), Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (2006), and, of course as a developer and writer of SpongeBob SquarePants TV Series.
